Lauren is a tourism industry leader with 18 years’ experience working in the industry.
Lauren has extensive experience in marketing and communications, and takes a strategic approach to destination management, ensuring brand promise matches industry product.
As the Chief Executive Officer at Australian Regional Tourism (ART), Lauren led the development of the Tourism Hub, a partnership between the government and private sector to develop a central platform to access tourism research, news and opportunities. Its purpose is to end isolation and facilitate connectivity in regional destinations, share knowledge and advice, and to enable collaboration between regions to develop best practice solutions to common challenges.
Lauren’s key strength is in providing effective leadership to make a significant contribution to the tourism industry. By building strong partnerships across private and government sectors Lauren is able to improve social and economic outcomes within regional communities.
