Joanne Dean is the Northern Tasmanian Project Manager for 24 Carrot Gardens. The 24 Carrot Gardens program imagines a future where young people thrive in a positive and connected food culture.
24 Carrot Gardens partners with primary and high schools in Tasmania to establish kitchen gardens, where students are immersed to grow, cook and share seasonal food. This garden-to-plate approach builds practical knowledge, whilst fostering curiosity, creativity and connection with food and one another.
