Inaugural State Manager for OzHarvest in Tasmania

Jenn Heggarty is the inaugural State Manager for OzHarvest in Tasmania. With a passion for sustainability and community service, Jenn brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her position, steering OzHarvest’s efforts to combat food waste and hunger in Tasmania.

OzHarvest is Australia’s leading food rescue organisation, driven by the core purpose to ‘Nourish our Country’. OzHarvest’s mission focuses on stopping food waste, feeding people in need, and protecting the planet by highlighting the importance of food and advocating for change across all societal levels. OzHarvest’s work aligns with five of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, highlighting their commitment to global sustainability and social equity.

Jenn will share an update on OzHarvest’s expansion into Tasmania and the positive impacts these initiatives are expected to bring. She will also introduce the OzHarvest Use It Up message, aimed at reducing household food waste through practical tips and strategies.
