Mick & Katy

Mick & Katy have been creating music together for many years in local original band The Embers and also as a duo, weaving the soothing sounds of the acoustic guitar with the whispering & soaring voices of the violin.

Mick and Katy deliver a genre bending performance borrowing from the blues, collecting from the Celts and foraging from the folk. Expect an original performance conveying stories of love and loss with some old favourites added to the set that have been lovingly reinvented by the duo.
