Héctor brings a wealth of experience and expertise in agriculture and biodiversity. With a background in Business and Finance, Héctor started his career at a venture capital firm specialising in Ag-tech, where he successfully helped closing a major investment deal with a mezcal producer in northern Mexico. His deep connection to the land is evident through his collaboration with the “Tenek” indigenous communities in central Mexico, focusing on sustainable practices and self-employment opportunities.

This collaboration also revived his family’s tradition of managing wild agave populations. Héctor’s passion for data and technology, combined with his love for hiking and exploring the world, fuels his dedication to sustainable agriculture and biodiversity. His mission is to create a lasting impact on the environment and local communities through innovative and sustainable practices at Gavé.
